Following some time out of the lime light FFL intend to return with a bang in season 8! The sale of Bjekle Sandhal towards the end of season 7 for a sum of over 300k was a big move, and currently in the transition stage the team may struggle over the next couple of weeks, their only likely income source being the TTs which are few and far between at this stage of the season.
Nevertheless a lot is going on within the team camp. Having acquired some real talents and built their team back up to over 15 riders, having fallen to just 10 in order to fund the purchase of Bejekle it is now time for training. FFL manager commented "Last season was a long season, the team had very little budget for training and the excitement of bringing through new talents was lost, it's probably my favourite element of managing, trying to create a new rider, see him climb the ranks, start getting results and hopefully become one of the best riders on tour". The sale of Bejekle has allowed the team to do just that and train 2 riders who they are hoping to be the future.
Pascal Lanoye has reached 94 SP the highest of any rider in OCM and intel from the FFL camp says he obtained 5 SP on his last sprint camp and may be able to climb even higher! With good potential in TQ as well, and plenty of money for training their are great hopes that he can strart getting some great ressults this season and still only 25!
The 2nd rider is Paul-Erik Koch, focussing early season on preparing himself for the first climbing TT of the year, the team hope to get him in great shape for the Germany tour, hoping his strength in the TTs and mountains will make it very very hard to take time out on him. Time will tell how far this rider can progress, but a 9th place in a recent race shows that he is starting to give us some returns and it is great that after 3 seasons the team is finally becoming competitive in all 3 main disciplines.

... It's probably way too expensive anyway to train past 94 :P I wouldn't bother myself.. hehe
I decided to train SP more for Pascal Lanoye, but apparently he had reached his max at 94. An extra 15 TQ though and still plenty more to go. Another race before more training though!
Great job. Looks like you're attacking an all fronts :)
Can't wait to see how this new look FFL will end up.
